HOW TO PLAY

Press "W" to speed up the car, press "A" to make the car go to the left, and press "D" to make the car go to the right.

CORE MECHANIC

Press "W" to speed up the car, press "A" to make the car go to the left, and press "D" to make the car go to the right. The player’s points increase over time. In other words, the longer the player can drive on the road, the higher their score. If player collide with other cars on the highway, the game will fail.

About this Game

Thinking process:

    About this project, what I want to do is an arcade game. Because I think the playing method, rules and system of arcade games are relatively simple. I can complete them alone. My game rules are inspired by a classic arcade racing game: Road fighter. That is, players need to avoid cars in the driveway. Once they crash, the game will fail. The longer players live on the road, the higher their scores

About technology and coding:

    In this project, I used a different method to make my car move. I made a device similar to a conveyor belt. I create 4 pieces of road. Each road will move backward and finally disappear. After disappearance, it will be generated again in the distance. The player's vehicle is stationary. I move the road backward, which reflects that the player's vehicle is moving forward.

Game Development+Game Production:

    In this project, my focus is on coding, so in the first and second weeks, I am studying and experimenting on how to make coding run. In the third week, I began to find and buy 3D mode online and began to import it into my project. In the fourth week, I started playing test and made sure there were no new bugs

Summary:

    This is my first video game and my favorite game. In this production process.My biggest gain is that I can skillfully use unity and have some basic understanding of c# language.
