Controls
Camera Control
Rotate your head to look around.

Running
Hold down the trigger button while waving your arm.


Climbing
The player reaches out to the rock that needs to be climbed, and holds down the grab button on the controller to grasp the rock, so as to climb up


Gliding
Players need to open their arms and press and hold the left and right trigger buttons

Narrative Introduction
You are a hacker in the future world. You have super hacking ability and parkour ability. Your task is to help your customers steal information from their competitors. Therefore, you need to go parkour between the buildings of the future sci-fi city and collect information about the target.

Core Mechanic
By holding the VR controller, players can run, climb and glide in reality. So that the game characters can make the same action in the game and cross different platforms to reach the destination to win. If the player falls off the platform, the game fails

DEVELOPMENT 1:Hardware:
In this project, for the first week, We made a heartbeat detector using the tool of the school model shop. This heartbeat detector will detect the player's heart rate, and then import the heart rate into the game data to change the player's speed in the game
We used laser cut to make a watch-shaped shell for the heart rate sensing chip, so that it can be tied to the hand like a watch, and then we made the shell of the heart rate sensing motherboard with a 3D printer. And use drill to drill holes on it, and pass it over with a belt so that it can be tied to the arm

DEVELOPMENT 2:Coding + Technology
In second week, As for the coding part of this project, my biggest challenge is how to let the character move forward by waving his arm instead of using the buttons on the traditional controller. I set two collisions near the head of the player character. The player needs to touch these two collisions to move forward, thus prompting the player to run and swing his arm.

Summary
This game is the final project of my altcontrl class. It is the first game I have to make both hardware and software. It is also the first time I have cooperated with other professional students to make games. My teammate is Haoran from Interaction Design. This is a challenge for us because we only have 2 weeks to complete it. Through this project, I learned to use the tools of school model shop and became more proficient in developing VR games.
